AwareNet Programmer
eKhaya ICT is looking for an experienced programmer who has an intimate knowledge of the Internet, lives and breathes HTML5, CSS and AJAX, as well as knowing about ICANN,

Duties: Based in the Eastern Cape (Grahamstown), you will program PHP modules (Kapenta platform) developing new apps and maintaining existing code.
Required technology knowledge: PHP, AJAX, SQL, Internet, HTML5, & C#, parsers, dev automation a bonus.
Experience: 10 years commercial Internet-related development experience.
Qualification: A-Levels + Professional qualification (e.g. MCP, N+, A+).
Remuneration: Eastern Cape standards.

eKhaya ICT is looking for a student/beginner programmer to assist with programming duties. The applicant must have completed 1 or 2 years of tertiary education with a major in computer science or mathematics. The applicant must be highly motivated and share in our mission. A certain degree of patience, perseverance and lateral thinking are also required to successfully overcome the programming challenges which will be the responsibility of the person. The programming tasks will require the applicant to learn Java based frameworks (like GWT, Spring, etc). Further tasks may involve PHP, JavaScript and other Web front-end technologies will also be par for the course.
